Power Plus Electrical carry out Fire Alarm testing for a number of different clients including
management companies, schools and private clients. Fire Alarm testing is carried out to ensure the integrity of the system in-place that
is the first line of defense against fire and smoke damage to persons and property. During a yearly inspection and test each and every device is tested using the appropriate test equipment.
The devices tested include, smoke and heat detectors, smoke beams, sounders, power supply's, break glass units, and all associated equipment. Power Plus Electrical also test Gas detection systems and the correct working conditions of automatic opening ventilation systems.
Once a system has been tested and is deemed to be compliant with the regulations a certificate is issued from our office, a copy of this certificate is then kept on record at our office should any client require it in the case of a lost certificate.

24 Hour Call Outs
All Engineers at Power Plus Electrical are trained in the testing and certification of Fire alarm systems, and we offer a full 24 hour call out facility to contracted clients.
Regulations
Fire Alarm system should be tested once every 12 months in order to comply with Irish Standards 3217:2009. For some clients of Power Plus Electrical this is reduced.
